Homemade Almond and Raisin Granola Recipe

Do you love granola? who doesn’t… Here I’m gonna share my basic granola recipe which is also the best one. I usually add almonds and raisin to this granola because I love this combination but you can use any nuts, fresh or dried fruits that you prefer.

Ingredients for almond and raisin granola

  • 3 cups rolled oat
  • 2 cups almond
  • 1/2 cup raisin
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey

Directions

Fill a plastic bag with almonds then gently beat them with a rolling pin until the almonds are crashed into smaller pieces.

In a large bowl stir in the oil, salt and honey together until combine.

In another bowl mix the oat, crashed almonds and brown sugar together.

Add the oats mixture into the honey mixture and stir to combine evenly.

Pour the mixture on a parchment paper. place the granola dish in a preheated oven to 350 F.

Cook the granola for about 30 minutes stirring every 10 minutes to achieve an even color.

Then remove granola from oven, add the raisins and stir to combine.
