There are some days we have a lot to do or we don’t like to spend our time in kitchen for whole day, pan kebab is one of the fastest and delicious persian food that is everybody’s favorite and It will be ready in no time.
In the following I will tell you how to make a best pan kebab at home.
- 1 lbs. Ground beef
- 1 grated onion
- 1/2 tbsp. Angelica ground (if pleasant)
- Brewed Saffron as desired
- 1/2 tbsp. Salt and pepper
- Butter 1/2 tbsp.
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 tbsp. sumac
first grate the onion and squeeze fully so the juice is all out. Put ground beef in a bowl, add grated onion, salt, pepper and if you like add Angelica ground to it. (it has especial taste to your kebab)
Mix and knead very well.
Now coat the bottom of a pan using one tablespoon cooking oil. Then spread the beef mixture in the pan using a spatula. Cut small piece of butter and put it around the beef mixture. Place the pan on medium heat and cover with a lid.
After 10 min the beef mixture had changed color and covered in its own juice.
Now with a spatula, divide the mixture into strips, then pour half of sumac and brewed saffron.
Cut 2 tomatoes to 4 pieces and place them on the pans.
After 10 min. flip the kebabs using a spatula and add the rest of sumac.
Wait for another 10 min, so kebab and tomatoes cook, keep the lid close for juicy kebab.
This kebab only takes 30 min. to cook, don’t let the juice evaporate because it is more delicious with its juicy souse.
Serve with white rice or French fries.
