Ingredients for banana bread
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

First preheat the oven to 350 F. Then in a large bowl whisk the flour, baking powder and salt and set aside.
In another bowl beat the room temperature butter and sugar with a electric beater and mix them well.
In separate bowl beat the room temperature egg with a spoon.
Add the beaten egg to the sugar and butter mixture and beat until blended.
Mash the bananas with a spoon.
Add the mashed banana and vanilla extract to the egg mixture and blend them all together well.
Now pour the banana mixture into the flour mixture.
Stir until blended but don’t over mix the batter.
Lightly grease a 7*3.5 inch loaf pan and then Pour the batter into it.
Now place the filled loaf pan in the preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes until a toothpick inserted into center of the bread comes out clean.
Let the banana bread cool in the loaf pan for 10 minutes and then serve it and enjoy.
