Easy Homemade Banana Cream Pie Recipe
Banana pie is one of the easiest and most delicious pastries to make. You can make this fast and easy recipe without using the oven. You only need to make the pie crust in the oven and you're almost done. The filling is banana pudding with cream frosting and tastes amazing with your butter crust. To make our filling you need to beat the eggs and yolks with a whisk then put them aside.
Mix sugar, Cornstarch, and salt in a thick pot then add the milk slowly and mix them well.
Put the pot on heat and stir continuously. Make sure nothing sticks to the bottom. Stir for five minutes.
When the mixture starts to thicken up lower the heat and stir for 6 more minutes. Now you can take it off the heat.
Now you have to temper the eggs before mixing them with the pudding. Take one tablespoon of pudding and stir very fast. Now add all of the egg mixture to the pudding, put them on heat and stir for 2 more minutes.
Now pour your filling into a big bowl and add butter and vanilla to it. Cover with plastic and put it inside the fridge to rest and become cool.
