Ingredients for carrot cake
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1, 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon powder
- 1, 1/2 cups milk
- 3/4 cup canola oil
- 1 cup grated carrot
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
First preheat the oven to 350 F then add the eggs and sugar in a bowl and beat them with an electric beater for 2 to 3 minutes until smooth, light and foamy. Remember to use room temperature ingredients to have a perfect cake.
Now pour in the milk and beat a little just to combine.
Then pour in the oil and beat a little again to combine.
Add the grated carrots into the bowl and mix well.
Sift the flour, baking powder and cinnamon powder.
Now add half of the flour mixture and mix until combine and then add the remaining flour and mix remember not to over mix the batter.
The batter is ready now. grease and flour a pan then pour the batter into the pan.
