- 1 , 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1, 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
First preheat the oven to 350 F then sift the flour, cocoa powder, salt and baking powder.
Remember to use room temperature ingredients to have a perfect cupcake. Add the eggs and sugar in a bowl beat them with an electric beater for 2 to 3 minutes until its smooth, light and foamy.
Then add melted butter and the vanilla extract, beat a little until blended. Pour in the milk and beat them a little until blended.
Now add half of the flour and mix until blended and then add the remaining flour and mix, remember not to over mix the batter.
The cup cake batter is ready so line one 12-cup muffin tin with liners.
Divide the butter in the prepared muffin tin and fill each cup about 2/3 full.
Now place the muffin tin in preheated oven until the cake tester inserted into the center of the cupcakes comes out clean this takes about 15 to 20 minutes.
Your delicious chocolate cupcakes are ready now so let them cool and then frost and decorate as desired.
