Crispy Baked Falafel Recipe
Crispy golden falafels are the best choice for a vegan meal. One of the best features of this falafel recipe is that it is cooked inside the oven and there is no need to use oil for your delicious sandwich.
Soak the chickpeas inside water for a few hours before you start to cook.
Mix chickpeas with parsley, onion, garlic, and spices with your food processor until they are completely combined.
Finally, your falafel dough is ready.
Grease the oven tray. Use a spoon or a scoop to shape the falafel dough and place it on the tray. You can also spray some oil on your falafels if you want to. Cover the tray with foil and put it inside the oven.
Take the falafels out of the oven after 20 to 25 minutes, let them cool down, then remove them from the tray. Your diet falafel is ready. You can enjoy it with some vegetables in a sandwich.
Tips and tricks
- You can sprinkle some sesame on the falafels if you want to.
- Use a medium-sized tip if you are using a mincer. The small tip over minces the ingredients and makes your falafels watery and deformed.

Falafels are amazingly delicious, fast, and nutritious sandwiches and you make for your dinner. The only problem with this sandwich is that it requires too much oil, so I decided to make this fabulous sandwich healthy, without using any oil inside the oven, and have it as my diet meal after the gym.
