Italian tomato sauce with fresh and small basil and thyme for types of pasta and pizza

A famous and delicious Italian sauce that is used for a variety of pizza and pasta. This red sauce with a mild aroma of garlic, basil and thyme can enhance the taste of pizza. Even without any other ingredients, you can make a delicious pizza with just a little cheese or use it as a complete sauce for pasta.

Ingredients

200 Gram Tomato
3 Tablespoons Olive oil
1 Tbs Tomato paste
2 Tsp Sugar
0.5 Tsp Salt
3 Tablespoons Fresh basil
1 Tsp Thyme powder
1 Clove Garlic

Instructions:

Peeled tomato and basil in the mixer

Puree tomatoes with basil or chop the basil separately and peel the tomatoes and puree them.

 Mashed garlic while sauting with olive oil

Mash the garlic and saute it with olive oil on low heat, it does not need to turn golden.⁣

Add the tomato puree with chopped basil to the garlic and olive oil while sauting and let the tomato's water evaporate on the heat.

 Pureed tomato while sauting with thyme,basil,salt and sugar

Add tomato paste, sugar and thyme powder and let it reach the right consistency.

 Rubbed the dough with spicy sauce besides pepperoni and pepper

The sauce is ready when it's consistency is similar to yogurt.

Background & History

Since most pizza need a sauce for the dough, I was looking for a delicious sauce to replace ketchup. I searched for this sauce, which is one of the famous Italian sauces, and when I made it, we liked it very much. It made the taste of pizza very close to the taste of restaurant's.
