Breakfast is one of the most enjoyable meals. Usually Iranian breakfast is a combination of bread with butter or cheese and jam or honey with tea. But French toast is a dish made of sliced bread soaked in eggs and typically milk. It serves hot with topping.
- 4 pieces of toast
- 2 eggs
- Half a glass of milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- The head of dessertspoon vanilla
- Butter as needed
At first, break the eggs and mix the yolks and whites completely and then add milk, vanilla and sugar. Actually it depends on your taste if you add sugar or not. You can taste it with jam and honey.
Stir the liquid well so that they mix together and sugar is completely dissolved to have smooth liquid.
Now, put the toasts in the liquid one by one and soak all its surface. Staying in the liquid make the toast will open up.
Then fry the toast in the frying pan with butter to be golden. (no necessary to close the lid)
When one side is golden completely, turn them over so that the other side be fried or golden too.
Now, they are ready. You can serve it alone or with honey or jam.
