Ingredients for easy fried rice
- 2 cups cooked brown rice
- 3 green onions
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup peas
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1/2 cup chopped carrot
Pour sesame oil in a skillet over medium low heat then add the green beans, chopped carrot and just chopped white root of the green onions, save the green leaves of the green onions to garnish at the end.
Fry the vegetables until tender about 10 minute.
Side the onions, peas and carrots to the side of the skillet and then place the egg on the other side of it.
Scramble the egg, when it cooked mix it with vegetable mixture.
Add the cooked brown rice to the mixture and stir to combine.
Pour in the soy sauce and stir to combine. fry the mixture for 3 to 4 minutes until heated through.
Take the fried rice off heat and add the green leaves of green onion and stir to combine.
