Tips and tricks

  • If your bananas are ripe enough, you can use less sugar.
  • If your bananas are not ripe enough you can put them in a plastic bag at room temperature for a day. If you want them to become ripe faster, you can put an apple in the bag too.
  • You can add 40 grams of chocolate chips to this recipe if you want.
  • You can use hazelnuts or almonds instead of walnuts.

Background & History

Banana bread could simply be made with bananas or you could also add some walnuts and chocolate chips to the recipe. We always have a few bananas in our fridge that are turning brown. If you have some of these bananas you must go and make banana bread. Well, you could also make some banana milk too but banana bread are really a better choice.
