Easy One Egg Banana Bread Recipe with Walnuts
I'm sure if you make this bread only once and try it you will fall in love with it. It is only made with one egg and it has an amazingly moist and soft texture.
Turn on the oven at 180C. take the butter out of the fridge until it is melted. Mash three ripe bananas with the back of a fork.
Mix the eggs with vanilla and sugar until it is creamy.
Whisk the batter until it looks the same as the picture.
Add mashed bananas to the batter and whisk slowly.
Add chopped walnuts and butter to the mixture.
Sieve salt, flour, and baking powder and add them to your dough.
Your dough thickness should be the same as you see in the picture.
Cover your loaf tin with some parchment paper. Grease the walls of the tin with some butter.
Pour the dough inside the tin. Cut a banana in half and drip some fresh lemon juice on it and place it on the dough. Put the tin inside the oven for about 50 minutes.
Our banana bread is ready.

Tips and tricks
- If your bananas are ripe enough, you can use less sugar.
- If your bananas are not ripe enough you can put them in a plastic bag at room temperature for a day. If you want them to become ripe faster, you can put an apple in the bag too.
- You can add 40 grams of chocolate chips to this recipe if you want.
- You can use hazelnuts or almonds instead of walnuts.
