Ingredients for walnut and cinnamon granola
- 3 cups rolled oat
- 2 cups walnut
- 1/2 cup dried apricot
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder
Fill a plastic bag with walnuts then gently beat them with a rolling pin until the walnuts are crashed into smaller pieces.
In a large bowl stir in the oil, salt and honey together until combine.
In another bowl mix the oat, crashed walnuts and brown sugar together.
Add the oats mixture into the honey mixture and stir to combine evenly.
Pour the mixture on a parchment paper. place the granola dish in a preheated oven to 350 F.
Cook the granola for about 30 minutes stirring every 10 minutes to achieve an even color.
Finely chop the dried apricots.
Then remove granola from oven, add the apricots and stir to combine.
